What is workers’ compensation?
Workers' compensation is insurance that your employer has purchased in case you get injured while working. This insurance doesn't cost you anything, but it is there for you in case you need it.
Workers' compensation is a "no-fault" system. Employees who are legitimately injured as a result of their work receive benefits as set by law, regardless of whose fault the injury is.
